We make the products. We deploy them. We run them for you.
Three service tiers, from one-time deployment through ongoing operation. Implementation services aren’t XyDromatics-only — twenty years of deploying competitor imaging stacks means we can move you off any legacy system, onto our products or alongside them. Vendor-agnostic by design.
Implementation Services
Deploy any imaging system — including ours.
Our flagship service line. Twenty years of deploying clinical imaging infrastructure means we move you off legacy systems, stand up new ones, and integrate them into the surrounding EMR / reporting / CVIS landscape. Vendor-agnostic by design — XyDromatics is one option, not the only one.
In scope
- XyDromatics product deployment (any host, any topology)
- Migration off legacy PACS / VNA / RIS — Siemens, Philips, Merative (Merge), Optum (Change), Fujifilm, GE Healthcare
- EMR / EHR integration — Epic (Radiant + Cupid), Cerner
- Reporting platform integration — Microsoft (Nuance), Jacobian (M*Modal)
- CVIS deployment — Siemens, Agfa, GE, Merative (Merge), Baxter (Epiphany)
- Third-party imaging applications — DynaCAD, AVW, Syngo Dynamics, Syngo.via, Modlink, PowerShare, InteleShare, Aidoc, Riverain, and more
- Workflow orchestration — Laurel Bridge, DicomSys
- Modality interface buildout, HL7 / FHIR routing, DICOM AE configuration
Deliverables
- Discovery + as-is workflow analysis (week 1–2)
- Architecture document + integration diagram (DOC-controlled)
- Test environment standup with synthetic studies
- Cutover playbook with go/no-go gates
- Go-live support + on-site presence during cutover
- Post-go-live stabilization (typically 30 days)
- User training (clinical + technical, separate tracks)
- Knowledge-transfer documentation tailored to your team
Sample engagements
- Replace legacy GE Centricity PACS with XyDromatics VNA Repository + Router across a 6-hospital health system
- Migrate 18 years of Merge studies into a target VNA with full per-study verification
- Stand up Epic Radiant + DICOM routing for a new ambulatory imaging center
- Cardiology workflow integration: Epic Cupid + Siemens CVIS + structured reporting
Pricing model
Fixed-fee SOW per scoped engagement, with optional T&M for change orders. Discovery deliverables are billed separately — you can stop after discovery if the scope changes shape.
Best fit
Hospitals + imaging centers replacing or modernizing imaging infrastructure. Whether or not the target stack is XyDromatics.
Professional Services
Strategy, workflow, and training — vendor-agnostic.
Advisory work that doesn't always end in a deployment. Workflow optimization, RFP support, compliance posture review, training programs, staff augmentation. The kind of engagement where you need experienced imaging-IT eyes on a problem but don't necessarily need infrastructure changes.
In scope
- Imaging-department workflow optimization
- Vendor selection + RFP / RFI support — we disclose any commercial relationship we have with vendors under evaluation so you can weight our input accordingly
- Best-practice review against 21 CFR Part 11 / ISO 13485 / IHE profiles
- Custom user-training programs (didactic + lab + competency assessment)
- Staff augmentation for project teams (PACS admin, integration engineer, project manager)
- Lessons-learned reviews + post-mortems
- Pre-acquisition technical due diligence (imaging-stack assessment)
- Compliance gap analysis ahead of TJC, DNV, or state inspections
Deliverables
- Findings report with prioritized recommendations
- Workflow diagrams (current state + future state)
- RFP scoring rubric tailored to your evaluation criteria
- Training curriculum + delivered sessions + competency records
- Compliance gap matrix mapped to specific regulatory clauses
- Named consultants embedded in your team for the engagement window
Sample engagements
- Six-month workflow optimization across 4 reading rooms — turnaround time reduced by 23%
- Independent VNA RFP support for a 12-hospital integrated delivery network
- Pre-merger imaging-stack due diligence for a private-equity acquisition
- PACS administrator staff augmentation during a maternity leave
Pricing model
Time-and-materials with not-to-exceed cap, or fixed-fee for well-scoped advisory deliverables. Day rates published on the detail page.
Best fit
Health systems planning a multi-year imaging modernization, a compliance-posture upgrade, or a vendor evaluation that needs an independent technical voice in the room.
Managed Services
We run the stack so your team doesn’t have to.

Best fit
Customers running XyDromatics in production who want a service-level commitment instead of in-house operations overhead.
How engagements run
A repeatable method, not improvisation.
The same five-step shape applies to every Implementation and Professional engagement we run. Managed engagements substitute step 5 with a transition into ongoing operations.
- 1
Discovery
A short, sharp engagement to map your as-is environment and the shape of the problem. Output: an architecture document, a workflow diagram, and a prioritized risk list. Stops here if you decide the scope changed.
- 2
Design
Target architecture, integration spec, test plan, cutover plan, rollback plan. SOW gets re-signed at this point if discovery shifted the scope from the original assumptions.
- 3
Execute
Build the test environment, exercise the cutover playbook in the lab, walk modalities and EMR integrations through staged config changes. Go-live happens behind a documented gate, with on-site Synthology presence.
- 4
Stabilize
Typically 30 days post-go-live. Daily standups, issue triage, change-order discipline, knowledge transfer to your operations team. End-state: closeout document signed by both sides.
- 5
Hand off (or hand to Managed)
For Implementation/Professional engagements, the closeout document is the end of our involvement unless you bring us back. For Managed engagements, this is the transition into ongoing operations under the SLA addendum.
Which tier?
A short answer for the common cases.
The tiers are designed to combine — most large engagements start with Professional (advisory), move into Implementation (deployment), and land in Managed (ongoing operation). But for a quick sanity check:
| If you’re trying to… | Tier | Typical duration |
|---|---|---|
| Replace or migrate an imaging stack | Implementation | 3–18 months |
| Stand up a new ambulatory imaging center | Implementation | 2–6 months |
| Evaluate vendors / write an RFP | Professional | 6–12 weeks |
| Optimize an existing workflow without infra changes | Professional | 3–6 months |
| Cover a PACS admin during leave | Professional | Engagement-dependent |
| Run a deployed XyDromatics environment day-to-day | Managed | Annual subscription |
| Prepare for a SOC 2 / Part 11 audit | Professional + Managed | Quarter-aligned |
Not sure which fits? The 30-minute demo conversation works equally well as a services-scoping conversation — same engineers on our side, same goal of figuring out the right shape of engagement.
Talk through your engagement.
Tell us the shape of the problem and we’ll come back within one business day with a proposed scope and the right engineer on our side. 30-minute conversations, no slides-only sales decks.
